The Oradour-sur-Glane Massacre an SS Atrocity

The Oradour-sur-Glane Massacre

As might be gathered from my previous post in this category, I’m no fan of Nazis or their apologists. I have to admit to trolling Neo-Nazis on YouTube, although I’m not sure that is strictly true, I’d like to think of it as my attempt, however pointless, at educating or should I say at re-educating the bastards, sorry I mean the misguided.

I came across the video below in my research into the atrocities committed by German soldiers during World War II.  I made a few comments and one of the replies made actually made me wonder how and where it was going all wrong. There are literally billions of internet pages out there, history books, TV documentaries and teachers, but somebody still manages to come out with this:

It’s possible Jews committed these acts in a false flag operation to turn the French against the Germans. Just saying, there’s something wrong about the history of this scenario. Just doesn’ make sense, Germans were fighting to free Europe from Jews. This is 1944, German cities were being carpet bombed, many Germans killed, it’s possible Jews could’ve taken the Nazi uniforms, slaughtered the French in revenge. Jews had already won, they’d seek revenge on France for a war they sowed.

What really happened

Below is the Wikipedia account of what took place:

In February 1944, 2nd SS Panzer Division (“Das Reich”) was stationed in the Southern French town of Valence-d’Agen,[1] north of Toulouse, waiting to be resupplied with new equipment and freshly trained troops.

After the D-Day invasion of Normandy, the division was ordered to make its way across the country to stop the Allied advance. One of the division’s units was the 4th SS Panzer Grenadier Regiment (“Der Führer”). Its staff included Standartenführer Sylvester Stadler as regimental commander, Sturmbannführer Adolf Diekmann as commander of the regiment’s 1st Battalion and Sturmbannführer Otto Weidinger, who was designated Stadler’s successor as regimental commander and was with the regiment for familiarisation purposes. Command of “Der Führer” passed from Stadler to Weidinger on 14 June.[2]

Early on the morning of 10 June 1944, Diekmann informed Weidinger at regimental headquarters that he had been approached by two members of the Milice, the French secret police that collaborated with the German Gestapo, who claimed that a Waffen SS officer was being held by the Resistance in Oradour-sur-Vayres, a nearby village. The captured German was alleged to be Sturmbannführer Helmut Kämpfe, commander of the 2nd SS Panzer Reconnaissance Battalion (another unit of the “Das Reich” division), who may have been captured by the Maquis the day before.

On 10 June, Diekmann’s battalion sealed off the town of Oradour-sur-Glane, having confused it with nearby Oradour-sur-Vayres and ordered all the townspeople – and anyone who happened to be in or near the town – to assemble in the village square, ostensibly, to have their identity papersexamined. In addition to the residents of the village, the SS also apprehended six people who did not live there but had the Asmisfortune to be riding their bikes through the village when the Germans arrived.

All the women and children were locked in the church while the village was looted. Meanwhile, the men were led to six barns and sheds where machine-gun nests were already in place.

According to the account of a survivor, the soldiers began shooting at them, aiming for their legs so that they would die more slowly. Once the victims were no longer able to move, the soldiers covered their bodies with fuel and set the barns on fire. Only six men escaped; one of them was later seen walking down a road heading for the cemetery and was shot dead. In all, 190 men perished.

The soldiers proceeded to the church and placed an incendiary device there. After it was ignited, women and children tried to escape through the doors and windows of the church, but they were met with machine-gun fire. A total of 247 women and 205 children died in the carnage. Only two women and one child survived; one was 47-year-old Marguerite Rouffanche. She slid out by a rear sacristy window, followed by a young woman and child;[3] the Germans’ attention was aroused and the three were shot. Marguerite Rouffanche was wounded and her companions were killed. She crawled to some pea bushes behind the church, where she remained hidden overnight until she was rescued the following morning. Another group of about twenty villagers had fled Oradour-sur-Glane as soon as the soldiers had appeared. That night, the village was partially razed.

A few days later, survivors were allowed to bury the dead. No less than 642 inhabitants of Oradour-sur-Glane had been murdered in a matter of hours. Adolf Diekmann claimed that the episode was a just retaliation for partisan activity in nearby Tulle and the kidnapping of Helmut Kämpfe.

Here’s the video. To be honest it reminds me a little of Pompeii. While the reasons why they ceased to exist are totally different, the result is the same. A town where life came to a complete halt due to a single event, one completely natural, the other totally man made:

Have Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease got it wrong… again?

Stephen Pierce Vs Dale Brown

or Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease and a comedy of errors (or not?)

If you’ve been following the Stephen Pierce story over at http://saltydroid.info/the-people-vs-stephen-pierce/ or my own minor contribution here http://alley-cat.info/resurrecting-the-good-guys/, you’ll know that there is a campaign going on to inform the many people who believe that they have been scammed by Stephen Pierce that a class action suit is being prepared by Dallas Attorney Alan Rosenberg  against Stephen Pierce International. Alan’s firm Chamblee, Ryan, Kershaw & Anderson, P.C. have agreed to take the case on a contingency basis so there will be no fee to pay until they win the case, which they undoubtedly will.

I’ll reiterate here – it doesn’t matter what country you reside in or whether you feel you were defrauded by buying one of Pierce’s products or were called by telephone by someone using Pierce’s name to sell you some kind of service. If you feel you have been scammed or let down by Stephen Pierce or anybody associated with him, contact Alan Rosenberg at  this email address.

One of the reasons for the campaign has been Stephen Pierce’s use of legal harassment to silence websites that criticise Stephen Pierce and his “get rich on the internet” schemes. I managed to resurrect one of the sites, stephenpiercescam.net, using Google cache. (You can see the pages using the menu above or the one on the right).

Another site that has taken up the story is Realscam.com which has a massive readership. While reading through their forum I came across this post by one of their members, JustTooMuchTime :

Full court docs available here:

Enter case as: DC1201053

Case started 2/6/2007…then nothing til 1/27/2012

Jury trial is set for 10/2/2012.

Last entry in case history is from Judge Ginsberg office to plaintiff attorneys advising some administrative procedures weren’t followed.

This is yet another lawsuit taken out by Pierce’s lawyers Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease, this time against a Mr Dale Brown and his company Coastal Vactions claiming that Mr Brown defamed their client with his website www.stephen-pierce-scam.com. You can see all the court documentation regarding the case by using the site and case number quoted above.

In one of the documents they show pages from the website:

Stephen Pierce Vs Dale Brown (.pdf 4 mb)

I’m actually a bit confused now as the only thing to be seen on the pages are images of Stephen Pierce’s products and lots of embedded YouTube videos of people praising Pierce and his products. The site is obviously unfinished as the About page is still showing the default WordPress message. Even though the lawsuit mentions comments, none are visible on the pages provided by the lawyers. I’m at a loss to see where the defamation is, or am I missing something? They actually demand that the site be taken down, while even in their own documentation they say that the site no longer exists. (??)

Is Stephen Pierce a scammer?

Now I’m wondering whether the site was initially meant to be one of those “Is Stephen Pierce a Scammer” type sites which was left unfinished? You know the type, they ask a question like “Are Stephen Pierce’s products a scam?” and then go on tell you they aren’t and offer you all sorts of “bonuses” if you buy one of Pierce’s products through their affiliate link.

If that’s all Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease have got , “I was building a false Stephen Pierce is a scammer” site might actually work as a defence. Pierce and his cohorts have many of these types of site all over the internet. Here’s an example :

Would the real Dale Brown please step forward?

Another document to be found in the court documents is this response from Dale Brown, which, if true, is a sad reflection on the professional skills of Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease :

Will the real Dale Brown please step forward 1

Will the real Dale Brown please step forward 1

Will the real Dale Brown please step forward 2

Will the real Dale Brown please step forward 2

I’ll assume Mr Brown is telling the truth, so perhaps the question now is “Have the law firm Vorys Sater Seymour and Pease  fucked up again? (The first time was when they took Pierce on as a client).

Even if Mr Brown is telling fibs and is the owner of Coastal Vacations, they are suing a guy who can’t even afford to pay his electricity bill and is about to lose his house! Great job guys.

Even more importantly would you want Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease representing you if this the kind of gross error they are likely to make?

Neo-nazis, apologists and revisionists

Trying to put the record straight

A month or so ago I was randomly browsing through videos on YouTube when I came across this little gem entitled “World War 2 – The Unseen Side of German Soldiers”:

I managed to get myself banned from commenting on the clip after a couple of hours, mainly I think because I pointed out that all the happy smiley German people in the video weren’t actually in their own country at the time, but were uninvited guests in most of Europe where they managed to slaughter or cause the deaths of around 20 million people.

Looking around at other films like the one above, I was amazed by the number of revisionists and apologists that comment  on films like this and by the number that believe World War 2 was caused by some kind of Bolshevik Zionist plot and not by a bat-shit crazy bastard with a ridiculous moustache.

Anyway I finally got around to making my own little clip, using the one above as a response.  It’s only the third clip I’ve ever made so it’s pretty crap. I just hope it gets my point across.

If anybody’s interested I used Serif Movie Plus X6 which I bought yesterday and still have no real clue how to use properly. You can see my version of “The unseen side of German soldiers here: (Please note that the contents are very graphic).

Please feel free to comment or offer suggestions etc.
